The image above is a 3D render, not a photograph of a lovely woman in meatspace. I wonder when we'll see image quality like this (and some of the other marvelous renders I found at CG Trader) in a world like Second Life.
probably never, Uccie; at least not in the forseeable future. While it's no problem to create such marvellous renders it's a whole different thing to create avies that way. Imagine a virtual girl like the one in your pic, walking around, riding a bike, having sex, dancing in 25 fps. Our poor computers and interwebz konnekshuns would break down immediately :(
